Hello and welcome to our site. Thank you for taking some time to get to know a little about us. We know that you are making the single, most significant choice that will ever be made for your baby and we admire your courage and strength. We respect that you are making this decision based on love.
Our promise to you, if you do decide to place your baby with us, he or she will be loved unconditionally. Forever.
Mike and I will provide love, support, stability and every opportunity for a great life. He or she will go to great schools, and will travel all over with us. We will go to baseball games, and share home-made cookies. He or she will be surrounded by a fantastic group of family and friends, who are already planning all the ways to spoil the baby! He or she will have two brothers to play with, four warm and loving grandparents and one spunky great-grandma. There are also lots of uncles, aunts and cousins to hang out with.
Until three years ago, I was a nursery school teacher. Now, I'm at home with our younger son and waiting for the baby we hope to adopt. I love being a stay-at-home mom! Mike is a child psychologist. He has this amazing ability to make everyone feel safe and secure. Mike's son, Louis, is 12. He lives with us part-time. Our son, Jay, is 14 months old.
Our family's experience with Jay's adoption was a beautiful thing. Mike and I were fortunate to spend time with his birth mother while she was pregnant and I was blessed to be at his birth. She was excited to hear that we are looking to adopt again and that Jay will have a sibling who is close in age. (We would be pleased to have another open adoption, but are also very respectful if you had a different preference. Either way, your privacy and confidentiality will be of utmost importance.)
The baby we hope to adopt and Jay will grow up together; he or she will always have a built-in playmate, school buddy and best friend. He or she will also always have a big brother to look out for them! Louis couldn't wait to be a big brother, and he is amazing with Jay! He is very eagerly awaiting another brother or sister.
Most importantly, we are a family filled with love. Mike and I are best friends. We are fortunate to be at a time and place in our lives, with a stable family, financial security and a healthy relationship. We are also so blessed with our boys. Now we are just hoping for the final piece to the puzzle. A precious baby to complete our family.
